1. AutoSave for Wordpress and MediaWiki (suggested by David Berlind)

I've noticed how, using AJAX (I think), Google Mail auto-saves drafts of emails as you're composing them. I'd love to have the same functionality for Wordpress and MediaWiki.

2. Wordpress and MediaWiki unplugged (suggested by David Berlind)

Using some sort of browser plugin-based persistence technology (eg: Java DB or Flash), develop AJAX-based applications that allow for continuous Wordpress and/or MediaWiki authoring regardless of whether your Wordpress/MediaWiki installation is available or not. Save, Edit, Publish and other buttons should all work as transparently as possible. Ideally, when connectivity returns, anything that's been saved locally (either deliberately or by way of autosave (see request #1) is pushed online.
