I currently run a Gen Y advisory council where I am working on understanding how to engage with Gen Y developers more effectively. I would like to get a better understanding of the new developer community and what are the next generation technology user implications. (e.g. Is scaleability, reliability, interoperability, portability addressed in mashups?) I would also like to know if if there are different "camps" within the mashup community.

I am interested in mobile mashups, mashups involving K-12 education, Enterprise oriented mashups specifically in the CRM, Design Collaboration and SCM spaces as well as mahsups involving AJAX.

I am also curious at the revenue models for mashups or are mashups just experiments at this stage? As well as if there have been any legal issues that have arisen from mashups (e.g. Who is responsible if something breaks?)
