Cloud Computing Talk

We set up the day with a talk from the Google App project. Then moved on to the Platform as a Solution. I started my talk with a round the room survey of the Campers and a background into the uses of the Cloud.

• The cost issues of Cloud Computing, It is cheaper?
• Security of information
• Who are the players in this field?
• What applications should NOT be in the Cloud?
• Are Clouds Green?
• Do Clouds use innovative solutions to solve power issues?
• CDN and other features new to the Cloud environment.

These a few of the questions that I remember from the talk. I will add more text later to describe what we talked about for each of these topics.

Many people at the meeting talked about how they have used the services of the Cloud Providers to deploy projects in the past.
