Adobe's Ted Patrick will present the Flex development toolset for creating Rich Internet Applications atop the Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Apollo. As you will discover, Flex is ideal for mashup development. He will cover Flex components, the MXML and ActionScript (ECMA 4) programming languages, and xml data exchange using ECMA E4X. Along the way we will read some Shakespear in XML and make a cross-platform desktop application.
