I'm one of the founders of Padpaw, a service that makes it easier for people to manage and organize groups (example: sports teams, church groups, professional organizations, and community groups) It provides event schedules, maps, and directions to events. More importantly, it can alert people to changes in events (example: a game is rained out) and provide them with information and communications to plan accordingly. It does this by using the computer that people carry with them all the time – their mobile phone.
